About Pilates
Pilates teaches us how to move consciously – without effort, but with purpose. In a world that constantly speeds us up, this method brings us back to ourselves, through movement that restores.
Pilates was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, guided by the idea of combining body strength, movement precision, and a focused mind. Initially intended for rehabilitation, this method is now practiced worldwide to improve posture, mobility, and overall body awareness.
The Reformer, as a key part of this method, enables controlled, efficient, and functional exercise that simultaneously strengthens, lengthens, and stabilizes the body.
Movements are performed with the support of resistance, allowing deeper muscle activation without joint strain. Pilates does not build strength measured in heavy weights, but the kind you feel in everyday movements – steady, stable, and long-lasting.
With regular practice, flexibility, balance, and breathing improve, while the body becomes more upright, movements more confident, and the mind more present. It is ideal for all ages and fitness levels, including beginners, athletes, and women in postnatal recovery.

Classes
Group Classes
Group Reformer Pilates sessions at Alma Fina Studio are held in small groups of up to three people, allowing for an almost individual approach to each participant.
This setup provides enough space for precise exercise adjustments, along with constant support and corrections from the instructor. The intimate atmosphere and shared group energy encourage motivation, consistency, and deeper dedication to movement.
Each class is carefully structured to enhance strength, flexibility, and body awareness, all while providing a sense of safety and support. Exercising in such an environment becomes both effective and inspiring.
Private Classes
Private Reformer Pilates sessions provide the opportunity for complete focus on your body, needs, and goals.
The instructor carefully monitors each movement, adjusts the tempo and complexity of exercises, and ensures proper technique. This approach allows for a deeper understanding of movement and gradual progress through greater challenges.
During training, strength, flexibility, and body awareness are developed, which improves posture and everyday movement.
Each session is tailored to support your specific goals – whether therapeutic, aesthetic, or sports-oriented.
